H2k move past Oslo Lions

H2k Gaming are through to the quarter-finals with a 2-0 success over Oslo Lions.

In an intense two-map encounter between two Scandinavian sides, H2k Gaming emerged victorious to send home the last Norwegian team in contention.

The Swedish giants started out really well on de_inferno as Terrorist, picking up 10 rounds, and they confirmed their good form after switching sides, taking hold of the six rounds they needed to post a 16-8 result.

It was expected that H2k would register a similar victory on de_dust2 after they won the first half 12-3 as CT, but Oslo Lions pulled off an impressive comeback to take the game into overtime. There, neither side could stamp their authority over the other, as the match was only decided in the fourth overtime, where H2k sealed a 28-25 win after winning the first half 3-0.

H2k Gaming will now tackle Millenium in the quarter-finals to decide who will meet the winner of the match between Evil Geniuses and Meet Your Makers.
